About the Teachers

Sr. Greisa
Assalamu Alaikum!
My name is Greisa Torres and I am the proud mother of five wonderful children, all of whom are students at Muslim Community School. I graduated with top honors as a nurse in 2006. However, in 2010, I discovered my true passion—early childhood education. After completing my training, I began working as a teacher and have been dedicated to the field ever since.
I spent 11 years at Clara Muhammad School in Miami, where I served as a preschool teacher and worked in administration for two years. In 2024, I joined the teaching staff at MCS/AA, and it has been a pleasure being part of this incredible community.
I believe that children learn best through engaging, hands-on experiences. Since I speak Spanish, I also incorporate it into the classroom by teaching them basic concepts such as colors, numbers, shapes, the days of the week, months, and the alphabet in both English and Spanish.
I look forward to continuing this beautiful journey in education with my dear students.
Assalamu Alaikum,
Sr. Greisa

Salaam!
My name is Greidy Pacheco, and I am originally from Cuba. In my home country, I worked as a nurse for seven years—five years in neonatology and two years in cardiovascular surgery.
For about a year now, I have been working at MCS/AA as a daycare teacher. I have completed all the necessary certifications and training required for this role. I truly enjoy what I do. I love teaching children and being surrounded by their smiles and the joyful, creative moments they bring each day.
I look forward to a wonderful school year together, Insha’Allah.
