About the Teachers
Sr. Zahra Shokouhi Sizar
Sr. Sizar been working with children for the past 18 years as a daycare provider. She operated her own private daycare for 10 years and worked as a nanny for the Muslim community over the last 4 years.
All three of her children attended MCS since first grade and we have been part of the MCS family for the past 18 years.
She has a passion working with young children as she believes children are the pillars of the future generation and Muslim ummah. She loves caring for their needs and ensuring they are raised with endless love and attention while spending their time with her.
Sr. Farida Khan
With over 26 years experience in early childhood education, I treasure the opportunity to be a part of the foundation of a child’s lifetime quest for knowledge. It is extremely rewarding to see the spark in a child’s eyes when they learn something new. Alhamdulillah for this experience.
I consider learning to be a lifelong adventure that begins from a young age. I believe children learn best in a combination of a play-based and structured classroom environment. I developed my curriculum to allow the students to explore, imagine, create, and build new skills at his/her own pace in a nurturing atmosphere.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren and cooking, sewing and gardening.
Testimonials
I am a parent of two children who are enrolled at MCS daycare. I am very impressed with everything here. The classroom is always clean and organized. Sr. Farida does a great job of teaching my kids new topics daily. They are so happy when they see her and when we go home, they can’t wait to go back to school the next day. Even when I struggle as a parent to feed them, their teacher does a great job of feeding them and getting them back on track. Because of the wonderful learning and nurturing environment at MCS daycare, my kids are also kinder and caring with each other.
Thank you,
Z.J.
