Preschool Goals

Our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing and engaging early learning environment that effectively supports the diverse needs of children and families in our community and creates a solid foundation for our students to be able to enter Kindergarten as a lifelong learners and a critically-thinking citizens.

Salaam Alaikum,

My name is Lule Burrow, and I’ve been part of the MCS/AA community since 2014, when my oldest child first enrolled. Since then, all four of my children have attended and are still attending the school, alhamdulillah. It has been a true blessing to remain connected with such a supportive and caring community over the years.

Before entering the classroom, I worked as a certified esthetician and business manager for 15 years. During that time, I was also responsible for hiring and training staff across multiple departments, which gave me valuable experience in leadership, organization, and team building. These skills have been incredibly helpful in my work as a teacher today.

As a qualified lead preschool teacher, I truly enjoy guiding young children as they learn and grow through hands-on activities, play, and meaningful daily routines. Seeing their confidence and curiosity develop is one of the most rewarding parts of my day.

I’m excited for a wonderful year ahead, inshaAllah, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to be part of your child’s early learning journey.

Wa Alaikum Salaam,

Sr. Lule

Assalamu Alaikum!

My name is Khadija Khatun, and I have been part of the MCS/AA community since 2023. I immediately fell in love with the school and its environment, and soon after, I began working as a substitute teacher to support the school I had come to admire. One of my greatest passions is helping and guiding Muslim children to learn and achieve as much as they can.

Before joining MCS/AA, I worked as a preschool teacher at a Montessori school in Gaithersburg, MD. During that time, I was responsible for caring for preschool children and working collaboratively with my team to support their growth and development.

I have successfully completed the necessary training to serve as a preschool teacher, and I enjoy supporting children’s growth through engaging learning experiences, interactive lessons, and a nurturing classroom environment.

InshaAllah, I’m excited to be part of your child’s learning journey and to help make this a positive and enriching year for them.

Wa Alaikum Assalam,

Khadija Khatun
